Melanie Marie Kreuzhof setzt sich über Stile und „Schulen“ hinweg und entflieht der Dualität. Realität lässt sich nicht abstrahieren, nur zeigen. Sie ist und bleibt konkret. Und manchmal so unglaublich real, dass sie surreal wirkt.

Kreuzhof’s Kunst ist Avant Garde und schert sich nicht um Modetrends oder angstvoll gehütete Sehgewohnheiten. Sie hat nur eine Aufgabe: die Kommunikation der von ihr erfassten Wirklichkeit. Und dazu spielt sie auf der gesamten Palette der Medien, beherrscht die Kamera und den Computer genau so wie den Pinsel und jede Form von Materialbearbeitung.

Melanie Marie Kreuzhof ignores styles and ‘schools’ and escapes from duality. Reality cannot be abstracted, only shown. It is and it remains specific. And sometimes so incredibly real that it appears to be surreal.

Kreuzhof’s art is avant-garde and does not care about fashion trends or anxiously shielded habits of looking at things. She has only one mission: to communicate the reality she perceives. And for that purpose, she juggles with the entire scale of media and can handle the camera and computer as well as the brush and every other means of working with material.
